  • Farm Analysis Solution Tools (FAST)
    FAST (Farm Analysis Solution Tools) are a suite of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets designed to assist those in agriculture make better decisions via user-friendly computer programs. FAST aids users in performing financial analysis, assessing investment decisions, and evaluating the impacts of various management decisions.
  • Illinois Farm Business Farm Management Association (FBFM)
    FBFM is a cooperative educational-service program working with about 6,000 cooperating farmers in Illinois. Nine local farm management associations with 60 field staff comprise the farm business analysis group which cooperates with the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics. Staff has an opportunity to work in financial management, accounting, and tax with commercial farmers. They supervise the completion of the farmer's records and summarize them to provide financial and production business analysis reports.
  • Illinois Market Maker
    MarketMaker is an interactive mapping system that locates businesses and markets of agricultural products in Illinois, providing an important link between producers and consumers.
  • International Business Immersion Program
    IBIP provides a unique, experiential learning opportunity, immersing participants in the critical cross-functional, cross-cultural and cross-regional issues that span international marketing channels.
  • International Policy and Development (IPAD)
    The International Policy and Development (IPAD) workshop started in 2007 as a voluntary association of faculty and graduate students. Its mission is to facilitate the friendly interchange of ideas and to ultimately enhance the quality of research. The weekly workshop offers an opportunity to present scholarly work to the department's policy and development economics community and to receive feedback on work in progress. The program is led by Dr. Alex Winter-Nelson of the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics.
  • Office for Futures and Options Research (OFOR)
    The Office for Futures and Options Research (OFOR) promotes and enhances scholarly research and learning of futures, options, and derivative markets. The Office bridges the teaching and research programs in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics and the Department of Finance.
  • pERE: Program in Environmental and Resource Economics
    The graduate program in Environmental and Resource Economics (pERE) explores the complex relationships between environmental quality, economic prosperity, and human behavior. Students and faculty from departments across campus are using economics to analyze policy regarding some of today's most critical environmental and natural resource issues.

  • Rural Health Workshop
    The Illinois Rural Health Workshop is a joint program between University of Illinois Extension and the Illinois Health Education Consortium/AHEC working with rural communities in Illinois through the development and provision of economic information about the local health care sector. The goal of the program is to help community members realize the economic importance of their local health care sectors and to provide information that supports community health planning efforts.

    The University of Illinois Tax School provides high quality, low cost tax education to tax professionals. We are an accredited sponsor of CPE and award CPE credits to those who attend our seminars.
