Being in ACE has taken me international two times in the past year. I was first encouraged by my advisor, Ann Finnegan, to travel internationally with the discovery course, ACES 298, after she realized my passion for traveling. ACES 298 is an 8 week course available to first semester freshman, which travels to the Dominican Republic for 10 days over winter break!

As a student who has studied in ACES for almost 4 years, I highly recommend any new students or potential students to study in our college. In our college, we have so many options can choose. If you feel interested in business, you can study agr-finance or financial planning, and even study agr-accounting like me. Or you can study biological engineering if you want!

This year we were lucky enough to go to Brazil for 2 weeks. We flew into Sao Paulo where we visited agricultural companies for the first five days. After that we went to a resort on the Pantanal, which are the wetlands in Brazil.

In addition the College of ACES is very generous with scholarships for study abroad and there is plenty of funding available! I would definitely recommend that you join this College and take advantage of the study abroad opportunities that ACE provides.

When I was first admitted into the ACE Department I had many concerns and I wasn’t entirely sure which concentration to purse. After I sat down with my advisor, I had a much better understanding of what concentration was right for me and which classes I would need to take to pursue this concentration.
