ACE Means LEADERSHIP

ACE students discussing policy.

As an advisor, I'm always standing in admiration of our students in ACE.  They really take their experience beyond the classroom to a new level.  Just elected THIS WEEK as the Student Trustee to the University of Illinois Board of Trustees is ACE student LUCAS FRYE.  Lucas, a junior in Agribusiness Markets and Management, has been an exceptional leader in the college, and ran away with the vote to earn this highly coveted position as the student voice to the Board of Trustees governing the university.

Learn more about his campaign by reading his story in the Daily Illini after his win:  http://www.dailyillini.com/news/article_5ab52c3c-a8c7-11e3-86e5-001a4bc…

In addition, ACE senior Damani Bolden, Public Policy and Law, is finishing his final few weeks as student body president.  His leadership on the student senate is an amazing testimony to him and the leadership skills he's learned here at Illinois.  I love this story about him when he won last spring:  http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?id=9064769.

ACE students get leadership skills and take them to the next level!  The proof is in the pudding!
