Inter-Intra College Transfer (ICT) Information

Transfer Process and Application

All University of Illinois students who wish to transfer to a concentration in ACE must complete the transfer process.

All current ACE students who wish to change concentrations must complete the transfer process.

The next opportunity to transfer to ACE or within ACE will be March 2017. Applications are due by 12:00 pm (noon), Friday, March 10, 2017 in 304 Mumford Hall.  Transfer decisions will be communicated via e-mail no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, March 17, 2017

ICT INFORMATION SESSIONS: Information sessions will be held in 305 Mumford on TUESDAY, MARCH 7 from 4-4:45 pm and WEDNESDAY, March 8 from 12:00-12:45 pm (bring a brown bag lunch if you wish for the March 8 session).  Attendance at these information sessions is NOT required for transfer.

NEW REQUIREMENT:  All applicants must have credit for or be currently enrolled in:  ACE 100 or ECON 102 AND at least one of the QRI required Math courses from either GROUP 1: MATH 124 (Finite Mathematics), 125 (Elementarry Linear Algebra), or GROUP 2: 220 (Calculus), 221 (Calculus I), 234 (Calculus for Business).

Transfer into all Department of ACE concentrations is competitive. Considerations include:
  • Interests aligned with ACE concentration;
  • Potential to complete all requirements within 10 total semesters;
  • GPA in UIUC courses (guideline for transfer is 3.0 or above - however, 3.0 does not assure nor preclude admission).
  • GPA in relevant coursework (economics, mathematics, statistics, accounting, finance)
  • Capacity in desired concentration(s).
  • Students on academic probation will not be considered.

APPLICATIONS:  APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS WEBSITE HERE or in 304 Mumford Hall.

Students accepted for transfer to ACE will need to meet with an ACE Undergraduate Program representative to complete the transfer process by Friday, March 31, 2017. Specific times available for such meetings will be communicated in the email notification of transfer decisions.
