As a senior getting ready to graduate from Financial Planning, I am spending a lot of time lately reflecting on all of the opportunities that ACE has given me.  Through my involvement with the program, I have had many wonderful opportunities.  ACE’s small class sizes allowed me the chance to better get to know my professors, which opened up many doors for me.  These connections led me to an internship and then full-time offer with my dream financial planning firm.  The mentorships put me in contact with Financial Planning Club, which helped me develop professional skills and interests.

Now, as Co-President of Financial Planning Club, I am so excited to be able to share what I have learned with other students.  We are currently in the midst of planning for the first ever Financial Planning Hiring Conference, where we will have over 20 companies attend looking to hire U of I students.  It is events like this that showcase just how many opportunities are available for University of Illinois students, and how ACE is dedicated to their students’ success.

As a soon-to-be graduate, I feel lucky that I now get to pass along some of the things I have learned along my way, and I am excited to see what is in store for ACE’s future.
