My career in Investments through ACE

ACE students discussing policy.

I am an ACE student in Financial Planning with a minor in Leadership Studies. Over the past year I have had a ton of experiences to help me with my future. Last summer, I interned at Beyer and Rock Investments. I had an understanding of the field because of my experiences in ACE. I have taken a couple of classes to help me with investments and I understood what investments were going in -- this will turn into a career for me in investing!

Part of my experiences that helped me land that internship last summer was my involvement in a Leadership minor. Through this minor, I have had to work in teams and have grown because of it. Whenever I have group projects in other classes, I am able to use what I have learned to improve the quality of our work. I am also currently working on developing a community project for my leadership capstone course, which I enjoy a lot.

ACE has helped me grow and find where my career will go, and the experiences I'm gaining in the meantime make me a candidate of choice for the job I want.  My advice is to take these opportunities and go for it!
