Where do you even begin? At the University of Illinois there are so many opportunities, but in the College of ACES in filled with opportunities that make you feel at home.  As a junior transfer student at the University of Illinois, I wanted to immerse myself in opportunities.  What a better place than ACE! Want to study abroad? No problem let's go to China! Compete in the National Marketing competition? Took third place!

International Business Immersion Program is full of opportunities that have exceeded what I thought the University of Illinois would offer me.  Getting to travel to Shanghai, Henan, and Beijing was an unforgettable trip.  I learned how to eat with chopsticks.  I got to climb the great wall, and then fell down a few stairs of it! I saw the Olympic stadium used in the Beijing Olympics and many places that wouldn’t have been possible without the University of Illinois.  

PLUS! I got to travel with our National Agriculture Marketing Association Chapter down to Jacksonville, Florida to compete against more than 30 other universities in a business planning competition.   I had the opportunity to gain real world experience by helping to compose an executive summar, and assist in developing a professional presentation to judges that helped us achieve third place nationally this past year!

What will you achieve? There is an abundance of opportunities, and I bet you can find one that you are passionate about.  Go after it!
