The Pride of ACE

Hilary Smith

When I chose my major, I knew I wanted a major that was heavily business oriented. However, I did not know specifically what area of business I wanted to specialize in. By choosing ACE, I have had many academically distinguished professors share with me the many opportunities I have available to me through the College of ACES. Once I selected a concentration, Consumer Economics and Finance, I have received nothing but help from my advisors, professors, and other ACE students in assuring a  successful career here in the College of ACES. I have enjoyed being a part of such a small personal major that helps such a large university feel much smaller. I have received nothing but positive feedback from corporate recruiters when seeing the College of ACES on my resume; I am eager to put my ACE degree to use this summer as I begin my career as a finance intern for Kraft Foods.
