A Crazy Time For ACES Students

ACE students discussing policy.

These past couple of weeks were hectic for those who attended the ACES career fair on Thursday! In addition to the career fair, midterms, and extra-curricular activities, it was especially busy for ACE students in particular Juniors & Seniors seeking internships and full-time positions. Some of us ACE students took the initiative to prepare for the fair by partaking in information sessions, talks, or classroom presentations that provided us a jump-start on networking with recruiters or alumni. It is important for ACE students to value the importance of seizing such opportunities whenever they come up. I was able to do so in my Finance courses. Aside from all of this, I was excited about prospective daily visits this week. Although there were none, it was a challenge to balance and time manage the responsibility of checking in with other priorities this week, especially because I was the only Ambassador who was available most days. Nonetheless, I look forward to upcoming Ambassador events and the chance to meet prospective ACE students. I wish each Ambassador and fellow ACE student the best of luck with finding success in job applications and interviews!
